Everyone who knows Marianne, loves her. She does so much for the people she cares about, and she does it all without every seeming stressed or overwhelmed. She's a wife and mom of two equally strong, independent, well rounded young women, that are also quite impressive ladies!
Enjoy reading about Marianne this week!
1. When do you feel your strongest?
I feel my strongest when I am helping people. Even when I am not feeling strong within myself I do feel like helping others to be strong and helping them through difficult days helps me find my own inner strength. I also feel strong when Susan tells me my outfit looks amazing. Sometimes the simple things like feeling good on the outside can bring a real sense of strength on the inside. Especially with tall black boots, skinny jeans, and amazing lipstick…
2. On your most difficult days, what keeps you going?
What keeps me going on the most difficult days is my family and friends. I speak to my mother, one
of the strongest women I know, every morning on my way to work. She has a way of listening
without judging and giving advice that always seems to be the exact thing I need to hear. I also live
by the philosophy that tomorrow is a new day and that in comparison to others in the world my
difficulties are truly minimal.
3. What do you value the most in yourself, you relationship with your spouse/partner, and your family?
I value the dedication we have for each other. No matter what we are all going through somehow we
all seem to rely on the fact that home is where we can all come together.
4. So far, what have been your greatest accomplishment(s)?
My greatest accomplishment so far has to be raising my daughters to be non-judgmental, liberal, kind hearted strong young women that amaze me every day.
5. What advice would you give to your younger self?
Life isn’t a dress rehearsal. Follow your heart, mind, and do what you want! Live life and don’t
doubt yourself. Be all you want to be and respect the world around you. Be kind to others and
remember that the world does not revolve around you so take care of each other.
6. What has been your biggest failure, and how have you overcome it?
